Top Dining and Restaurant Apps on Android in Italy: Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top dining and restaurant applications on the Android platform in Italy exhibited notable trends in downloads and user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

McDonald's experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at around 24.3K and reaching a peak of 61.3K by late November. Active users also saw an upward trajectory, reaching over 3M in late November before stabilizing around 1.8M by the end of December.

For Burger King Italia, downloads showed a strong increase, starting with 13.8K and peaking at 40.1K in mid-December. The app maintained over 300K active users throughout the quarter, with a peak of approximately 447K in mid-December.

TheFork - Restaurant bookings began the quarter with weekly downloads of around 21.4K, which gradually decreased to a low of 8.3K in mid-December before slightly rebounding. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 773K in late October and ending the quarter with approximately 637K.

KFC Italia saw its downloads start at 10.9K and rise steadily to 15.4K by mid-December. Active user numbers showed a similar pattern, peaking at around 132K in late November before ending the quarter at about 92K.

Finally, Old Wild West had a more modest performance, with downloads decreasing from 8.7K to 5.7K mid-quarter and then slightly increasing to 7.5K by the end of December. Active users peaked at over 60K in early November but decreased to around 44K by the quarter's close.
